My approach leaves room for you to be fully present while I preserve the big moments, the quiet ones, and everything happening in between. Whether you’re planning a full wedding day or an intimate elopement, your photographs will bring you back to more than how it looked—they’ll remind you exactly how it felt.

Where will our session take place?
We’ll choose a location that fits the feeling you want for your photographs—not simply somewhere that looks pretty.
I have a list of favorite locations throughout the area, and I’m always happy to help narrow things down based on your family, the season, and the way you want your session to feel.
Some sessions may also take place in your home, especially when documenting those slower, more familiar seasons of life.
What should we wear?
Once your session is booked, I’ll help you put everything together. I recommend choosing pieces that feel like you, photograph well together, and allow everyone to move and feel comfortable. You don’t need to be perfectly matched or buy an entirely new wardrobe. Coordinating colors, comfortable textures, and clothing you genuinely feel good in will always photograph better than forcing something that doesn’t feel natural.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Your children do not need to sit still, look at the camera, or be on their very best behavior for us to create meaningful photographs.
I expect children to need breaks, warm-up time, movement, snacks, and sometimes a little extra patience.
We’ll follow their lead, play when we need to play, and leave room for them to be exactly who they are.
Please don’t spend your session worrying about whether they’re “cooperating.” Loving them through it is enough—I’ll take care of the rest.
What if the weather is bad?
I keep a close eye on the forecast as your session approaches, but Pennsylvania weather can change quickly, so I try not to make the final call too early. Clouds and a little wind don’t necessarily mean we need to reschedule. If the weather would make the session uncomfortable, unsafe, or keep us from creating the experience you booked, we’ll work together to choose a new date.
When can we expect our gallery?
Portrait galleries are delivered within four weeks of your session, and wedding galleries are delivered within eight weeks of your wedding day. Your finished photographs will arrive in a private online gallery where you can view, download, share, and order prints from the comfort of home.
Do you share on social media?
The safety and privacy of the children I photograph will always matter more to me than having images to share. While your private gallery will include the full collection of photographs created during your session, I no longer publicly share identifiable images of minors’ faces on my website or social media. Any photographs shared will be carefully selected or cropped to protect their identity while still honoring the story of your session.
